DOWSETTMAYHEW Planning were instructed to give planning and heritage advice on a Grade II Listed Building within a Conservation Area. The proposal included a new basement level underneath a Listed Building, a mansard roof and amalgamate the Listed Building to its non-listed neighbouring structure.
The development was in proximity to a tree adjoining the site, that was subject to a Tree Preservation Order (TPO). DOWSETTMAYHEW consulted with Westminster City Council’s Development Management Department and Conservation Department. DOWSETTMAYHEW instructed and liaised with third party consultants, in order to obtain appropriate detailed information for the planning application submission.
Consent was obtained in 2012, and construction took place during 2013. The development is now complete.
