DOWSETTMAYHEW Planning Consultants advise a leading education provider in Sussex on various Estate-wide planning matters. We have secured planning permission for change of use of buildings to residential institution accommodation and secured permission for alterations to buildings within the campus.
The site lies within a Conservation Area. There are a number of listed structures within the campus and any development on the campus or its periphery requires sensitive discussions and negotiations over the detail of development. This often includes extensive pre-application discussions with both the Local Planning Authority’s Development Management Department and Conservation Team.
