DOWSETTMAYHEW advise on the redevelopment of a site within the East Cliff Conservation Area of Brighton. The client required modern student accommodation in association with a higher education provider in the city.
DOWSETTMAYHEW acted as lead consultants in the planning and development process. Negotiations took place between the client and the Council’s Conservation Team and the Development Management Planning Department. DOWSETTMAYHEW represented the client at Planning Committee and secured the necessary consent.
DOWSETTMAYHEW continue to act as lead consultant in discharging planning conditions and advising on the development process, liaising with contractors during the development of the site.
